Sweet Auburn, a landmark historic district in downtown Atlanta, sits at the heart of the city’s cultural narrative. Through SCAD Serve, I led the project management for a comprehensive wayfinding and experiential design system for a six-story mixed-use residential and retail development. Our team also developed a thoughtful placemaking strategy to contextualize the divisive Gold Dust Twins advertisement displayed on the adjacent historic Atlanta Life Insurance Building, transforming a challenging artifact into an opportunity for education, dialogue, and community reflection.
